U13’s Match vs Gort RFC

Our U13’s, who include a number of players from Scariff RFC, today traveled to the rugby grounds in Scariff where we hosted Gort RFC.
In an entertaining and committed game BK/Scariff RFC managed to withstand strong pressure from Gort to break away and score a number of good tries to go in 19-0 up at halftime. With the stiff wind in the backs in the 2nd half, Gort never gave up and managed 3 tries themselves, however strong carries by Noel McGrath, Evan Wood, Callum Byrne and Ruadhan Quinn throughout the game saw BK/Scariff RFC U13’s win out 47-17 in the end.
