Killaloe National School

The pupils of Killaloe National School paid a visit to the local Killaloe Coast Guard Unit today and were shown the resources available to the community for an emergency They were also given a safety on the water presentation which covered Swimming Sea and River, Boating, Fishing and what to do in an emergency. While at the Units base they were treated to a live tasking to a speed boat adrift.

Killaloe Coast Guard as part of their commitment to educating school children water safety before they start their summer holidays, visited 2nd class students of Ballina NS in Co Tipperary. An interactive slide show was given covering inland water safety, seaside safety, lifejackets and the need to always wear one. Killaloe Coast Guard visit Lisnagry NS

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit visited Lisnagry NS as part of the commitment to teaching water safety in toatal 256 boys and girls reveived a 15minute instruction on the dangers of water and then were introduced to the equipment used by the Coast Guard. 18/06/2010

Visit to Killaloe Coast Guard

The Killaloe Boy's National School 3rd and 4th class visited the Killaloe Coast Guard Unit. The event was organised by the Killaloe Library.
