Also coming up this weekend: FAMINE COMMEMORATION at Pier Head Killaloe on Sunday 5th May at 3pm. County Clare is hosting the National Famine Commemoration in 2013. Events will be held throughout the county between May 3rd-12th. On Sunday May 5th, a local commemorative event, including laying of wreath, music, song, prayer and the reading of an account if an emigration scene from the Pier Head, will take place in Killaloe. All are welcome.
