Whenever I have to do a makeover and I need the makeup to last and stay perfect from early morning til late at night e.g. a bride, I recommend to cleanse, tone and put your moisturiser on as soon as you wake up. Allow time for the moisturiser to be absorbed by your skin, otherwise the moisturiser will only act a barrier for your makeup to go on smoothly and prevent it from lasting all day (you want the make up to sit in your skin not on top). So go on and eat breakfast or get ready for work. Then, just before you put on your makeup use a primer. Make sure you choose the correct primer for your skin type / skin concern.
