This video really explains what we are trying to do.. Home made food, good quality with great Ingredients served and cooked by people that actually care. We believe in changing how people eat both in the cafe and cookery school. There is no need to buy processed food, cakes made in factories and delivered in trucks, white sliced bread sandwiches everyday.. I love seeing kids at lunchtime eating lentils, people learning how to heal themselves with fantastic food in our classes, people treating themselves to a great slice of cake at the weekend.. And there is so much more to come…
It's ok to be a little different.. In fact the more business that work from the heart for something they truly love and believe in, the better for us all x

Rosie Foley sitting down for breakfast this morning…..
"Bonjour Madame..and how did you travel here today?"
"Swam".
Beat that.
Questions have been asked if she fell overboard and just kept swimming….
Is she staying in the water long enough till she grow gills? (likely, suspect the process has already started)
Is she in fact at this moment now swimming back towing the Sea Cat behind her? (probably…cool down swim)
Congrats to Pat and Fionnuala and everyone on the support team. We look forward to your return Rosie!

A huge congratulations to our lovely bride Eileen McCullagh and groom Ronan Ely who tied the knot yesterday in Holycross abbey and joined us on a glorious day for their wedding reception!
What an entrance they made arriving in a vintage Jag!
Wishing you both all the happiness in the world for this lovely new journey that lies ahead of you.

NEWS JUST IN – we have just found out that our dear friend and Boru club mate Rosie Foley has just completed her goal of swimming the English Channel.
She left at 07.52 from Dover Saturday (26th July) and arrived safely in France just a few moments ago (late Saturday night) after many hours in the sea.
!!!!!! !!!speechless!!!
On 21st June she swam the length of Lough Derg 38km in her swimsuit – and here we are just a hop, skip and a month later and she’s after swimming to France. Will someone please tie her up now?
Rosie you are an absolute inspiration, we are so so proud of you!!!.
There is only one word for you Rosie – PHENOMENAL!!!! Well done girl, I’m sure you will find a way to top that but hope that for now – you might rest on your water wings for maybe a week or two?
Oddly enough I was suspicious that something was amiss when her name was not on the Thomond Swim results today…but did not expect this to be the reason!!! Awesome Rosie. Absolutely awesome achievement. Congratulations and buckets of best wishes from everyone here

A great day was had today in Ennis at the I-Tri – 6 BoruMen and an all Boruwoman Relay Team – Boru Abu out in the sunshine at Ballyalla Lake.
A great event today from Ennis Tri Club, well run, and lovely routes, definitely a good one for the calendar for the future with Swim/Run events for the kids also!
For the big boys and girls, Best Boru Swim and first man home goes to Bobby of The Finned Foot Reynolds, Best Boru Cycle to Paul Legs Dorrell for an awesome bike time, and Best Run goes to Michael The Motor Kelly but only by a second over Bobby Reynolds! Great well rounded performances also from Donagh O'Sullivan and John Dillon. Serious competition among the boys who all came home within 8 minutes of each other!
The newly formed all female Boru Abu Relay came in 3rd overall in the relay teams. Well done to Fiona Ward, Linda Bracken and Karen Larkin.
And then there is the comeback kid, who after 21 yrs, dusted off his cape and returned for a comeback tri today – Des O'Donnell – romped home like a happy Labrador in 1hr and 14mins as 2nd Boru man home, looking fresh as a daisy not a bead of sweat nor a hair out of place. Just goes to show when you have it, you never lose it. Well done Boruvians! Another great day notched up on the calendar. For those who went on home by the way – you missed some great food!
