Great day at Our local Brian Boru Triathlon brilliant results by our club members & friends Kincora Warriors consisting of Pat Minogue Rosie Foley Mike Curley won Sprint Relay while team Colin Byrne won the Olympic Relay ! Many local teams entered & placed highly Laura King Katriona Bradley Carmell de Mello Maura Brennan Tanya NiCeirn all involved ! Boru club chairman Bobby Reynolds placed in the top ten in the overall sprint while Gary Madden was in the top twenty in the Olympic race! Many club members competed the tough course Ray, Colm, Frank & Paul in personal bests ! While Shane O Brien from cross rds Killaloe competed in his 1st ever triathlon doing the Olympic distance! Linda Bracken, Eoin Keirns & Joe mc Glynn all marshaled the course along with many students, parents & teachers from St Annes CC from which part of the proceeds will go to pay for the schools new Astro Turf which is due to open this week! Well done everyone!
