So bad things happened over Christmas and New Year – that was then, this is now. Day 1 is today – make a few small changes and see the differences in how much a** you are pulling along.
Note! muscle is good – muscle burns fat when you are at rest so even though it weighs, its quality weight and doing something for you on the bike, excess fat is like competing with a couple of shopping bags hanging off you

Weather permitting – Sunday Spin will be back this week with a January warmer upper – all levels welcome – those who want shorter can peel off earlier and warm up the buns on the benches in Wooden Spoon, middle distance can stay longer, etc etc. So all meet Planet Tri at 8.45 to leave at 9am, we can organise the groups when we see who we have. We will be mixing it up and making it interesting in the weeks to come!- so come on down for the first spin of the year :) get some awesomeness.

Well done to all who took part! – if you can do 5k or 10 on a day like New Year's day, Boru TC can help you can look to new challenges like a duathlon or triathlon this year. Info on training to follow.
Many thanks again to Peter Murphy for the photos (please feel free to tag and share)

Boru Tri Club would like to thank the Lakeside Hotel for their kind support today, and for everyone for turning up on such a grand soft day! There were all ages out, we had Juniors, visiting triathletes from Limerick Tri club, USA(!), local runners and our own Boru crew plus some hardy walkers out today running and walking the new path – rain or no rain!. Thanks to Tony O'Brien for letting us loose :D
Huge thanks also to Boruman Peter Murphy for taking the marvellous photos and Vinnie Barrett and Pat Bradley for their help on the day and the Boru Biker Babes for mobile marshalling.
This is just the beginning of great things for 2015, we invite you all to join us
