A great day’s running today in Birdhill Turkey Run with great pace all round.
1st Boruman home in the 10k was 16th overall and our very own Running Man Gary Madden with his usual effortless sub 40min style – heels on fire as usual Gary – well done!
Hotly pursued by new Boruvian Dave Egan and Paul Dorrell.
Also putting in a great run for the Boru women today was Tanya Ni Ceirin.
In the Half Marathon, congratulations go to Michael Curly Cunningham who barely touched the road and flew home in 1hr 16. Our new Chairman Michael Kelly was not far behind, and Paddy McGowan just a couple of husky lengths behind him. Great running everyone well done!

A busy day today so a big well done to Boruvians who leapt in the lake for the Special Oympics in ULAC and to the good Boru turnout at Birdhill Turkey Run today.
A nice hilly route, not an easy one for PBs, but PBs were indeed smashed (well done Paul Dorrell, 2 mins off! you deserve to be happy) Well done everyone, some great running!
Fantastic to also see young children out giving it a go – they are the next generation of athletes so bring them along!
