we may need other methods of ID to know each other out of our natural sweaty habitat (quick look at the soles of the feet or cyclist eyeview) but that is all part of the fun – bring humans!

Congratulations to all those brave souls who got their kit off and dipped in Lough Derg Christmas Day – we felt your pain! A few Boruvians there doing their thing – notably among the last ones to come out of the water (well done Rosie Foley and Majella Scanlan! tough out!) and a special thanks to Majella Scanlan for showing up in her Boru tri suit a welcome splash of colour in the lake yesterday

An event that may be of interest – Ennis GAA club are planning a cycle from Enni…
An event that may be of interest – Ennis GAA club are planning a cycle from Ennis to Kilkenny on March 21st to raise money for charity.They are running a transformation programme starting in the new year to allow people get in shape for the event.
Once people are fit they will complete a 150km cycle from Ennis to Kilkenny on March 21st.
Registration is 50 euro and minimum sponsorship is 350 euro on top of that. A portion of the monies raises will benefit Slainte an Clar (Clare Cancer Support)
The event will involve an overnight in Kilkenny and going to the final round of the hurling league match between Clare and Kilkenny.

Plan to meet at Lakeside Hotel at 1.45 – leaving at 2pm sharp for a sociable 10k run to start 2015 as we mean to continue!
Taking in the beautiful river views and the new path all the way to lakeside Twomilegate and back to the Lakeside hotel again
