Update on the Turkey Run from our Roving Running Reporter….
Some cracking times coming out of Birdhill from Boruvians and friends.
Bobby Reynolds smashed his half marathon PB with 1:29!!
Ray Hickey smiling too with a PB in the half of 1:40.
Denis O'Loughlin and Paul Dorrell both hitting PBs on a hilly10km. Performance of the day appears to be in Waterford though with rumours of Gary Madden clicking a 1:28 in the half marathon which is phenomenal.
No word yet on 40th birthday girl Maria McAllen debut half marathon.
Any one else running today? Saw friends of Boru Liam Ryan, Liam Rainsford, Brian Grogan (1st over 40 with 1:28) Some amazing performances of winter running all round.

Great spin this morning – the Soggy Bottom Crew were dry today thank god, averaging at 28.8 which considering some of the hills and the longer distance – its great going! Some interesting speeds reached coming back down I believe…under the speed limit (just) and safely executed (of course! 
) There has to be a little treat for the torture of climbing those hills. Some cold tired heads recuperating in the Wooden Spoon this morning.
