Don't forget tonight A Trip Down Memory Lane presented by Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil 2013 Ballina Committee at 8pm in O’Donovan’s, Ballina Killaloe. Featuring old local slides and photographs, poems, songs and stories of Ballina and Killaloe and a showing of the film ‘The Johnstown Monster’ which was filmed on Lough Derg. Donations on the door in aid of Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil 2013 Ballina. All Welcome!

Bridgetown Community Alert have held a number of planning meetings over the past few weeks with a view to highlighting their work within the local community as regards crime prevention: Community alert signs are to be purchased and erected around the village and to this project a table quiz will be held in Tony Horan’s on this Friday night April 26th. This promises to be a fun evening with tables of four taking part.

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit and Rescue 115 the Shannon based Irish Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter was tasked by local Gardai to a report of a male missing in the Killaloe area. Killaloe Coast Guard Unit and Rescue 115 carried out an extensive search of the area. The male was later found safe and well in the Limerick area. The unit was stood down.
