Congratulations to our ex Operations Manager, Danielle Tuite (Cork), on her marriage to Mike Murrihy (Clare) which took place in Kilkenny (rub it in why don't ya!) last Friday. Thank you to both of them for inviting us to share in this very lovely (and very fun) day. I hope all the press calls and radio interviews didn't hamper your day and that you are handling your fame well 
Hard luck to Danielle and well done to Mike on the result of the match. Hopefully see you both really soon and enjoy the honeymoon……. 'HON the Murrihys!' from all of us here in the hotel.

Message from Triathlon Ireland.
National Series points will be calculated and finalised at 5pm October 7th 2013. All prizes and awards will be based on these final calculations. Please ensure you check your results/rankings and points after each National Series race you compete in. You must submit any results queries before the deadline in order to have corrections made.
If you haven’t received points for a race, please send an email to vicky@triathlonireland.com advising the race name and your TI number so that we can correct your points. No amendments or corrections will be applied after the deadline on 5pm Monday 7th October.

Reminder that BORU AGM is on Tuesday at ST Anne's at 7.30. If you are interested in signing up for The Dark Side TRX/Turbo Training sessions, please sign up on Tuesday night (payment secures place). Equipment (TRX) will be organised based on paid signed up people Tuesday 1st. Sessions will begin on Tues 8th Oct- any questions you have re TRX will be answered on Tuesday and a demo of how it works will be available

Inspiring lady well done American actress Daryl Hannah has spoken out about her life-long battle with autism and how it forced her to take a step back from Hollywood.
The 52-year-old Splash star has revealed she was diagnosed with the developmental disorder as a child, but kept her health issues under wraps so that she could pursue a career as an actress.
However, the condition, which often causes difficulties in social situations, left Hannah with a debilitating shyness and she was terrified of attending her own premieres or promoting her movies on TV.
Even after establishing herself as an accomplished actress she still felt "terrified" to tell anyone, especially anyone working on the production side of things.
Speaking to People Magazine Hannah said: "I've never been comfortable being the centre of attention. It's always freaked me out."
People also reports that Hannah has learned to manage her symptoms and is focusing her energy on environmental activism. She hasn't completely turned her back on acting, but she said she is, "definitely not being offered the greatest roles in the world".
She added: "Life is too short to stress the small things anymore."
