Smith O’Brien’s GAA Club present “Brendan Grace in Concert” at the Lakeside Hotel on Tuesday 4th December. The show commences at 8pm, doors open at 7.30. Supporting acts on the night will be “The Shannon Folk” and the “Lough Derg Riverdance”. This promises to be a great nights entertainment as Brendan continues to be one of the most popular comedians on the concert circuit. Donations on the door, all funds raised to Killaloe Pink Ribbon and to Matthew Pooley and Anthony Kennedy, students of St.Anne's Community College who are heading to Africa to work with the Meadowvale Project.

The ‘Clarisford Project’ will receive the proceeds from this year’s Christmas Day Swim at Two-mile-gate. Each of the three tenant clubs; Soccer, Rugby and Scouts will be looking for members and volunteers to undertake a sponsored swim and also for members to seek sponsorship if not swimming. The Christmas Day Swim has gone from strength to strength over the years and is a great opportunity to raise funds for this worthy cause. For all relevant details or for a Sponsorship Card please contact Christy McGrath or any member of the Soccer, Rugby or Scouting Committees.
